Now that I have created skins for the new campers of Total Drama Pahkitew Island, I will be updating the skins I made for the "Total Drama MC Other Outfits" project. The other outfits images for the new campers will come after the preexisting campers are all updated.
I've started an Instagram account ...
https://www.instagram.com/henryca03/ For what it's worth, I've started an Instagram account. Namely because there's a few people I had followed here that moved to Instagram, and that site wants you to log in just to even view a profile for more than a few scrolls. There's also the cross-linked Reels on Facebook, where you have to be on Instagram just to see the comments. I honestly don't know what to post there, but it's more than likely what's already here, and I don't plan on abandoning my DeviantArt, at least for now. You might notice that my Instagram username doesn't match my current DA username (since it was already taken); however, it matches my original username here (which I still use primarily for Google and Minecraft Java Edition).
Total Drama seasons/series rankings
8. All-Stars This is by far the worst season in the franchise. It wasted a strong premise, with returning campers competing in a "heroes vs. villains" format. This season had so many problems, such as bad writing, inconsistent continuity, which is especially egregious in a series with a serialized narrative since All-Stars relies heavily on its viewers having prior knowledge about the four preceding seasons, certain characters getting eliminated too early in stupid and/or out-of-character ways, overexposure of the series' least interesting couple and an extremely unsatisfying finale. Also, in hindsight, All-Stars should have been the final season of the series (to date), with Pahkitew Island preceding it. All-Stars should have featured then-all three cast generations in a 26-episode format. (2/10) 7. Pahkitew Island This season was intended to be a fresh start with new characters in a new setting; however, this was mostly a false start. Unlike most of the first and second generation
Upgrade woes 2.0 follow up--three plus years later
Back in late 2017 and early 2018, I made a journal series about how I screwed up my gaming PC at the time with a botched upgrade and how I corrected it, namely changing motherboards. After finally buying a used CPU, new memory, and a new CPU cooler, my old motherboard did successfully boot for the first time since late 2017. When I initially tested the board, I used its onboard graphics, but I wanted to put in an entry level graphics card in the system, and hopefully attempt to sell it as a "starter" gaming system. New graphics cards are practically impossible to find at MSRP, and older generation cards are going for a premium on the secondhand market, even for entry level cards. The card I settled on was a Sapphire R7 260X. I knew as a older entry level card (it retailed for less than US$150 in 2013), current triple-A games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal were well out of the question. While getting the board working again, I tried using an inexpensive CPU cooler similar to
100,000 pageviews...
I have reached 100,000 pageviews on my profile. It took me nearly two years to amass my first 10,000 pageviews, and every subsequent 10,000 took a fraction of that time (usually six months to a year).
